Kevin Brown
For 45 years, Kevin Brown used drugs and alcohol. He became ill and found out he had pneumonia and needed emergency surgery. Before surgery, he took drugs he had in his pocket because he wanted to die. Shortly after taking the drugs, his heart stopped, and doctors revived him. Mr. Brown’s near-death experience made him realize he was given another chance. He has been clean for eight months and is employed. Every neighbor deserves a safe place to live - and a chance at a do-over. Join the Coalition for the Homeless and add your photo to the frame! #EndHomelessnessDC
