Robert Avery Homelessness was never something Robert Avery expected. Significant renovations, followed by rental increases his family could not afford, forced him to leave his home. He still went to work during the day but slept on park benches and at shelters at night. He was struggling, and no one knew he was experiencing homelessness. With the support of the Coalition, he now has his own apartment and is employed.
